Prestige Press Inc., is a third generation, locally owned & operated, family business.

The year was 1955 and Prestige Press Inc. began as the dream of two business partners, Marvin J. Malish and Warren B. Crocker. Located intiallty in Newport News, Virginia it quickly outgrew its location and moved to downtown Hampton. A few years later, the company once again expanded beyond its facility and relocated to it present site in the Hampton Industrial Park at 610 Rotary Street. Marvin’s wife Jean was a local fine & Graphic artist.

Years later, Marvin’s two teenaged children began working summers and weekends for the two partners. They were hooked. After college, Amber Malish Sconyers and Marvin A. “Buddy” Malish joined the Prestige Press Inc team full time. In 1986 Warren’s untimely death, left Marvin as the sole owner of the business. Marvin, having begun his printing career at 17 years of age, was well prepared for the task ahead of him. Marvin remained active in the business & community, until his death. He was well known and loved by all who met him.

Today, Amber and Buddy run the business together. Amber’s oldest son Michael is a full time employee of Prestige Press and Buddy’s son, Jordan, is a frequent part time employee. The younger children are often found on site.

And so the legacy continues...
